Topping Out: 45 East 22nd Street

This 65-foot tower in the Flatiron District has topped out at 777 ft tall.

From the 45th floor you can look from one future apartment down to Lower Manhattan with a great view of One World Trade, and the accompanying skyline to the north you can see the neighboring One Madison residential tower and down onto the green of Madison Square Park.

45 East 22nd Street is the tallest building in the Flatiron District. It will hold 83 apartments. The development spans 372,000 square feet and includes 18 underground parking spaces. Yimby reported that the design, by Kohn Pedersen Fox, is meant to evoke a champagne flute with a base of 75 ft and the top at 105 ft.
