Israel Berger & Associates, LLC announced that Giulia Alimonti RA, Ed Madocks RA, Dumas Martinez and Farhan Mudasir have recently passed the LEED v. 2 exam, giving them LEED AP status.
Additionally, IBA has just hired Jennifer Sze, who comes to the firm with a previously earned LEED AP credential.
Alimonti, Madocks and Martinez are all members of the Restoration Division at IBA. More specifically Madox is a specialist in roofing and water-proofing; he concentrates on roof technologies.
Mudasir and Sze are both working in the New Construction group, so they are often involved in construction site inspections as well as in modeling new curtain-wall technologies, overseeing mock-ups of full-size exterior units and working with architects and manufacturers on new exterior wall materials and new techniques for glass exteriors.
Sze has recently completed her Master in Design Studies at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, with a concentration in Sustainable Design. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at Cooper Union.
In addition to internships and part time consulting at Atelier Ten, Sze was project manager at TMT Restoration Consultants.
