LiMandri served as Commissioner of DOB from 2008 through 2013 under former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, where he led the New York City Construction Code Revision, a set of 25 safety laws and 40 new rules affecting ground-up construction and energy efficiency in building codes.
