The experienced and expert staff we have at Vidaris are our most important and valuable asset, and the following promotions reflect the company’s commitment to its team.

We recognize the elevation of Nathan Walker from Senior Associate to Principal.  Nathan has been with Vidaris for almost 8 years, joining in 2012 as a Senior Consultant in the Existing Buildings division in the New York office.  He has over 20 years of diverse architectural experience focused on technical design consulting, feasibility, and forensics throughout the US and abroad.  He has worked on many prestigious buildings in New York and overall has been involved in more than 200 projects ranging from large-scale new developments and campuses to the preservation and adaptation of landmark buildings. Recent noteworthy projects that leverage his experience with both new and existing buildings include the repositioning of 425 Park Avenue, 390 Madison Avenue, Hudson Commons and the Waldorf Astoria.

“Nathan is respected by clients, peers, and colleagues; he is a deeply experienced practitioner and mentor, able to meld technical expertise and managerial skill with a spirit of innovation that pushes our work forward in meaningful ways,” said CEO Marc Weissbach.

Vidaris’ Senior Principal, Stanford Chan, head of the Existing Buildings division at Vidaris, said, “I’m proud to say that Nate represents the next generation of leadership within my team,” says Chan, speaking to Nathan being the first Principal to be promoted to Principal within the Existing Buildings team.

Before joining Vidaris, Nathan previously worked for world-renown Rafael Vinoly on a project in the Middle East.  Prior to his international experience, he worked for eight years at WJE specializing in building enclosure consulting services.

Nathan received his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is both a Professional Engineer and Registered Architect in New York, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional by the USGBC.
